Kiko de Gallo - ‘Elsewhere Remixes’

‘Elsewhere Remixes’ is the follow up project from De Gallo’s ‘Elsewhere’ album released June, 17 2022. In ‘Elsewhere Remixes,’ fellow music producers rework some of their favorite songs from the original album. ‘Elsewhere Remixes’ features 6 feel-good grooves ranging from Reggae Dub, to Electronic, Hip Hop, Latin American, and Flamenco music. An eclectic album by a diverse line up of established artists from Argentina, Portugal, Spain, Bolivia and the USA is the perfect mix to reimagine the original downtempo chill flavor of Kiko de Gallo’s ‘Elsewhere’ album with their uniquely creative approaches.

Remixes by:

Ego.360 (Argentina/Sweden) is a musician, producer and pioneer of Nu Cumbia and Global Bass. He has graced stages around the world with his original sound throughout the last decade. For ‘Speakeasy’, Ego.360 provides a dreamy night vibe with a fusion of urban music, dubstep and Tropical music.

Fat Mama (Spain) is a Drum & Bass and Reggae Dub dj/producer from Cadiz, Spain. Fat Mama shares with us his unique ability to reimagine sounds with two remixes of ‘Postcard from Kyushu’. A dub remix and ‘Postales de la Bahía’, an instrumental hip hop beat with Flamenco music as a nod to Fat Mama and Kiko de Gallo’s shared roots.

Pat Nice (USA) is a well established House music dj producer based in Kansas City who has released music with legendary underground House music labels throughout the years. Although known for his house music, for the ‘Follow Through’ remix, Pat Nice created a solid downtempo boombap dub beat with tons of SP404 style effects.

Super Muñeca (Portugal/Sweden) is an audiovisual artist, dj, producer making experimental electronic music by creating unique layers of sounds and beats. Her creative approach to music making is highlighted in her ‘Cosmic Cruise’ remix by reimagining the original song with a deeper cosmic vibe and taking you on spaceship throughout space.

Amado Espinoza (Bolivia/USA) is an award winning performing artist, composer, and instrument maker that respects his folk traditions of the Andes Mountains. In Amado’s beautiful version of After the Rain, he has skillfully recreated the song melody by playing several Peruvian woodwind and percussion instruments. The result is a folkloric version of the original song with a very organic and calm feeling.
